If you've ditched your conventional polish (furniture polish is highly poisonous if ingested), you can buff your wood with natural oils.
Jennifer Taggart with The Smart Mama makes her furniture polish from scratch. Mix 1/4 cup of organic olive oil, 1/4 cup of vinegar and 20 to 30 drops of essential oil, shake it up and it's ready to use.

Lemon Juice and Vegetable Oil.. Mix equal pans of lemon juice and salad oil. Rub into scratches with a soft cloth until scratches disappear…..
