Smart Mama’s Green Guide

Jennifer Taggart has been a longtime supporter of Healthy Child Healthy World and always a fountain of knowledge. I just read her new book, Smart Mama’s Green Guide: Simple Steps to Reduce Your Child’s Toxic Chemical Exposure, and I have four words: Wow! She’s so smart!!
Smart Mama’s Green Guide is like an entire set of encyclopedias on environmental health issues, somehow magically squeezed into 200 pages. Jennifer did a brilliant job of capturing her seemingly endless knowledge (seriously, I feel like I can ask her anything and she’s has an immediate answer) and her book will definitely be a new reference guide for me. Her advice is simple, her explanations are scientifically sound, and her wit keeps you smiling despite the fact that you’re reading about a topic that can easily become depressing.
So, pick up her book, visit her blog, and join parents across the country for a Twitter Party tomorrow night (9EST - #thesmartmama) and parents in LA for the Ultimate Healthy Home Party on Sunday.
The two parties have a ton of great giveaways and you should make the book a gift to yourself. Thanks Jennifer, for being such a smart mama!
