Here is an opportunity to see the positive consciousness level of the media and their awareness of toxins in our environment and our health – see these two great stories by two of the most reputable sources out there – National Geographic & National Public Radio (NPR).

1. National Geographic:  On newsstands now.
In this issue they report on the toxic affects of environmental and in-home threats.  Nat Geo also has an online interactive feature that uses simplified graphics to guide you through specific locations in your home.

Shameless Healthy Child plug: For more “virtual walks” through your home, visit the Healthy Child Health eHouse  -  a robust and informative tool to help you understand the potential risks in every room in your home.  Scan the articles to find out ways to avoid these dangers without sacrificing your family's comfort.

2. National Public Radio (NPR):  Listen to the audio story of Discovering the Pollutions Within our Bodies. Tested for over 320 chemicals in his body, David Ewing Duncan finds out how polluted his body really is – all stemming from trace amounts of toxic agents found in everyday products and in our home.  Fascinating, disturbing, informative, and a great reason to take Healthy Child recommendations.
