Sheila Hollender

Co-Founder, Seventh Generation

Sheila Hollender is a leading authority on children’s and women’s issues, environmental health and sustainability. Following a distinguished career as a partner in her own New York law firm, she co-founded Seventh Generation with her husband Jeffrey. Sheila served as a member of the Seventh Generation Board of Directors for over 15 years and worked as the Women’s Environmental Health Advocate at the company. Sheila serves on the Boards of the Breast Cancer Fund; ReSource, a leading Vermont non-profit and social enterprise organization; and Sustainable Health Enterprises that works to solve the problem of women’s and girl’s absenteeism from work and school in Rwanda.
