Jason Avant is the founder and managing editor of DadCentric. originally launched in 2005, the site was one of the first group dadblogs, and remains one of the most influential. He and the website have been featured on ABCNews.com, BusinessWeek.com, USA Today, Time.com, CNN.com, Details Magazine, the Seattle Post-Intelligencer, and the CBS Evening News.

A blogger since 2004, Jason has also served as the managing editor for Parentricity, co-hosted PDX.fm’s Man Time show, and was a staff blogger at Babble.com’s Strollerderby.

Jason has also worked as a blogging consultant for Ogilvy Public Relations Worldwide. In addition to his duties at DadCentric, Jason is the Contributing Editor for UpTake.com’s Nightlife Blog, and runs his personal blog, Pet Cobra.
