Theo Colborn, Ph.D.
President of The Endocrine Disruption Exchange, Professor Emeritus at the University of Florida, Gainesville
Dr. Theo Colborn is Professor Emeritus at the University of Florida and President of TEDX (The Endocrine Disruption Exchange). She written and lectured widely on the human health and environmental threat posed by endocrine disruptors and other industrially-produced chemicals at low concentrations in the environment. Her prior positions include a Fellowship at the Office of Technology Assessment (US Congress); Senior Fellow, W. Alton Jones Foundation; researcher at the Conservation Foundation; director of the Wildlife and Contaminants program at WWF-US. In January 2000 Dr. Colborn was awarded the Blue Planet Prize, the 1999 Norwegian Rachel Carson Prize, the 2003 Society of Toxicology and Environmental Chemistry's Rachel Carson Award, and Time Magazine's 2007 Environmental Heroes Award.
