Jennifer Bayer Michaels is currently the Finance Director for the Andrew Cuomo 2023 campaign, where she has served for 3 years. Prior to the Cuomo campaign, Jennifer Bayer Michaels was Finance Director for U.S. Senator, Chuck Schumer. Before Jennifer joined the Schumer office, she was a senior fundraiser and advisor at the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee (DSCC). Her husband, Howard Michaels, is the Founder, Chairman and CEO of the international real estate investment banking firm The Carlton Group.

Jen graduated from Ohio State University with a BA in International Studies. Her parents, Sandra and Bruce Bayer, live in Livingston, N.J. Jennifer and Howard have two daughters, Alexandra who is 6 and Reese who is 4 and reside in Manhattan and Old Westbury, Long Island. Jennifer is actively involved in many charitable organizations including Share our Strength, 92nd St Y, AIPAC, National Foundation for Facial Reconstruction, Mount Sinai hospital, NARAL, WIN & Riverdale Country School.
