ORGANIC COTTON: Naturepedic crib mattresses are made with 100% certified organic cotton. Organic cotton is a chemical-free material grown without the use of synthetic pesticides or fertilizers.

WATERPROOF SURFACE: The Naturepedic mattresses features a food grade 100% polyethylene waterproof surface. Polyethylene is a non-toxic, environmentally friendly, and recyclable plastic. It does not have the same toxic properties and chemical additives as vinyl/PVC.

NON-TOXIC DESIGN: Naturepedic strives to eliminate materials or chemicals which may be toxic, hazardous, or otherwise potentially harmful. The following materials typically used in crib mattresses are specifically prohibited:

• NO Phthalates
• NO Vinyl (Polyvinyl Chloride or PVC)
• NO Polyurethane Foam
• NO PBDEs, antimony, modacrylic or PAN

In addition, Naturepedic does not use any wool or latex (natural or otherwise) in the construction of the No-Compromise baby mattress (due to allergy concerns).
