Soft and endlessly kissable, your baby’s skin is strong and beautiful. Help keep it that way with these simple steps:

Use only the essentials
Fewer creams, lotions and body care products means fewer chemicals in your baby.

Check ingredients
Check the product label for ingredients – not marketing language. Steer clear of any products that include:

  • Methylisothiazolinone (MI and MCI)
  • 2-Bromo-2-Nitropropane-1,3 Diol (bronopol) and DMDM hydantoin
  • Oxybenzone
  • Triclosan
  • Retinyl palmitate

Go fragrance-free
The mix of chemicals in a fragrance can harm sensitive young skin and trigger allergies. Go without it – particularly in diapers, diaper cream and wipes.

Besides, what smells better than a clean baby?

Pass on baby powder
The tiny particles can hurt your little one’s developing lungs.

Practice sun safety
Keep babies younger than 6 months out of the sun. Cover up with clothing, hats and plenty of shade.

Wash baby’s new clothes
Launder new clothes before dressing your baby in them to get rid of chemical residue from the manufacturing process.
